Beacon Scanner: A Comprehensive Beacon Tool
Beacon Scanner is a utility application designed for Android devices that allows users to scan and analyze various types of beacons, including iBeacon, Eddystone, and AltBeacon. With its material design interface, the app provides a user-friendly experience while delivering critical information about beacons in the vicinity. Users can view detailed beacon data such as UUID, Minor, and Major values for iBeacons and Altbeacons, as well as URL, UID, and TLM frames for Eddystone beacons.
In addition to basic scanning capabilities, Beacon Scanner offers advanced features such as proximity value assessment (immediate, near, far), distance measurement to each beacon, and real-time TX and RSSI values. The app also includes graphical representations of RSSI values, Bluetooth information like MAC addresses, and options to export beacon data to a CSV file or send it to a web API.
